DataHub.events

Company

Built by people who needed it themselves.

DataHub exists because our own magazine needed it. We build and run it as a product - with the priorities of people who keep production systems alive: traceable data, quality gates and boring reliability.

From one magazine’s problem to a platform.

DataHub started inside Jazz Palace, the online magazine and community for the jazz scene. A small team wanted complete, current event coverage - and no small team can maintain that by hand.

So we built the engine: multi-source ingestion, entity matching, AI-assisted qualification, human review, automated delivery. Jazz Palace has been running on it in production since - every event, venue and artist record on the platform flows through this pipeline.

DataHub is that engine, productized: a multi-tenant platform on its own domain, with isolated customer workspaces, entitlements and documented delivery interfaces. Jazz Palace is tenant number one - every customer gets the same infrastructure we trust our own product with.

How we work

The principles behind the product.

Provenance before cleverness

Every record can answer where it came from. Enrichment and AI sit on top of attributed data - never instead of it.

Humans gate the brand

Automation does the volume; people make the judgment calls. Nothing questionable ships just because a model was confident.

Neutral by design

We don’t sell tickets, we don’t own your audience, we don’t sit in your checkout. Infrastructure earns trust by not competing with its users.

European, verifiably

Operated from Hamburg on EU infrastructure. Data protection is a design constraint, not a compliance afterthought.

Talk to the people who build it.

No sales layer - questions about the platform, coverage or a pilot land with the team that runs the engine.
